100th Post Giveaway Celebration!

When Donna asked me to start this blog with her back in January, I never would have dreamed we'd have 1oo posts in 5 short months. It's been such a great experience sharing our creative endeavors with one another and the blogosphere! The inspiration and encouragement is bountiful and most certainly, greatly appreciated.

To show our appreciation for your support and interest in our blog, we're having a giveaway...well, two actually. Donna and I have both come up with a collection of things we'd like to send away to two lucky winners. Here's the loot:

Donna's vintage inspired loot:

(vintage pillowcase & sheets cut into roughly fat quarters, 1930s repro fq, coordinating striped fabric, thread and a sweet doily).

Sara's red and white polka dot inspired loot:

(dotty mug, fabric, ribbon & post-it notepad, some giant red ric rac and a coin purse like the ones currently in the shop)

If you'd like to see one of these two giveaway parcels arrive on your front porch, just leave us a comment telling us what your favorite fabric is right now! We'll each randomly pick a winner on Wednesday, June 10th. Easy like Sunday morning, right?!
Happy commenting!
- Sara & Donna

I really enjoy your blog!

Picking a favorite fabric is tough but I'd have to say I'm in love with the Good Folks collection right now. It took a while to grow on my but since I've started cutting it up for a quilt, I'm in LOVE.

Crossing my fingers for the giveaway. Those are so lovely and generous!

Congratulations on your 100th post! Great giveaways, ladies.

My favorite fabric at the moment is Frog Prince from Heather Ross' Far Far away line, in any color. The double gauze is so soft and the frogs are so darn cute.

So what do you have planned for your next hundred posts?

Emily said...

100 posts--wow! I haven't met a fabric I don't like! I really am into vintage linens these days, though! Thanks for the giveaway!

Congratulations on 100! I don't have any vintage linens right now, and that looks like a wonderful way to start.

I had fun with the coaster swap! I think the fabric I'm most wanting right now is Red Letter Day by Lizzy House.

Thanks for being around and letting us celebrate with you. I am very excited about Summer Soiree by me (seriously, I'm not kidding) for Michael Miller. Those polka dots would look so great mixed in. If not, I just wanted to wish you a great Blogiversary.

My favorite fabric is saris from India -- I've got a ton of everyday-wear, cotton ones, and they go out of fashion so quickly... so then I've got 5 yards of fabric, with a (usually -- the color senses are a bit different there) matching border, and a yard of either contrast or more heavily patterned fabric at the end, so I can make all sorts of fun stuff. Aprons, largely, although the fancier (silk) saris have sometimes turned themselves magically into evening gowns.

Wow! Congratulations on your 100th post!

I'd love to have one of these goodie packages arrive at my house, both are incredible.

To pick a favorite fabric? Wow, not sure, really. I don't shop by line, I shop by eye. I'm really into the Cherry-o, but to pick a fav, I just can't!

Keep blogging, love reading your posts.

Amy said...

Congratulations on 100 posts. I look forward to the next 100!

Currently I'm completely inspired by solid fabric. I started getting caught up in patterns and fabric and forgot a little about what got me quilting in the first place - love of sewing and designing. I'm challenging myself to work with solids right now to try and get back into designing form and function...but that's not to say I wouldn't love to win either package!

You both have such a lovely blog! I'd love to be included in your giveaway, thankyou. I'm obsessed with all red and chocolate fabrics at the moment. I really love the Wonderland by Momo fabric range, it's just so lovely. Amy Butler fabrics are always gorgeous too! I didn't realise that you had an Etsy store until now - those coin purses are so beautiful!

I don't have a favorite fabric at this moment. Since my husband has been out of work for a year, I haven't been looking at fabric much, it makes me sad. But I do love fat quarters of all kinds and to be honest, I haven't met a piece of fabric I didn't like. Thanks for the chance.

Holly said...

Congrats on your 100th post. Before you know it you will have 200. My favorite fabric is anything 1930's.

My very favorite right now is Denise Schmidt's Katie Jump Rope! I love it so I can hardly bear to cut into it though it is perfect for everything! I also have a small collection of black&white prints...I love those, too!

Lina said...

Hi girls! Favourite fabric is definitely linen following by anything funky and vintagey...Happy 100th post by the way - that was pretty quick!

Shari said...

A favorite? As in a single fabric? I guess it has to be Joel Dewberry Sunburst in Orange from the Aviary line. I found an Etsy seller with yardage at a great price so I'm going to create a new top for summer (which will then provide plenty of scraps for patchwork). I think it has to do with this Orange phase I'm going through---my Dutch husband and two boys love this color!

nice giveaway! I love anything amy butler right now. :)

Happy 100 ladies!!

Such different styles for your give-away picks, but I love them both!

I have many favourites (you know I have a soft spot for anything Amy Butler - especially Gothic Rose, with the hot pink).

Vintage linens (a lovely pack from Sara's Etsy shop supplemented with a few of my own thrift finds with Donna).

Neptune by Tula Pink - am starting a coin quilt with tone-on-tone white polka background.

Michael Miller - Around Town. Just finished the quilt for my son's BIG-boy bed.

Was I REALLY supposed to pick only one???

Thanks for sharing all of your inspiring creations and tips so generously...
