Well Behaved

I recently did some cross border shopping which always means a trip to JoAnn. Since I usually only get over there once a year at the most, I really don't put any limits on myself in the fabric buying department. I was very proud of myself when I escaped those doors with only this in hand...well, this and a water soluble pen! Well behaved, right?

I'm very impressed. I've yet to check out Joann's Fabrics . . .one day I'll make it there.

Don't you think we should be plotting a fabric jaunt to somewhere amazing, maybe in a few years .. let's make it big . . .

i have bought some of those from Joanns and they are my favorites...it figures that most of my favorites there are Alexander Henry. those lemons are too much fun.

Sara, i used three wee play charm packs... i had seen this idea ages ago in flicker or something and fell in love...it is the perfect way to use them and make something simple like squares look so cool. i have a friend who is buying some packs so she can make this on a visit to my house soon. i can not wait

Thanks, Leslie!
After seeing yours, I think that's the pattern I'm going to go with. I know I won't be able to give it away, so I'll put that quilt off until I have another baby of my own (that could be a loooong while!)

If anyone is wondering what Leslie and I are getting on about, go check out her blog and have a peek at her gorgeous wee play quilt. It's just perfect!

Very well behaved can't say the same for my last trip which was about 100 or so.. But that's 4-5 projects! So $25 each not too bad!

You have amazing restraint! And great taste in fabric. Love all of those prints.

I can never walk out of Joann's with less than two armfuls. Buying batting is worth the drive and exchange alone.
