I meant to...Wow! Thanks for your sweet comments. <br /><br />I meant to say that I was surprised how little fabric a bigger quilt really takes. I tend to buy at least a meter when I buy fabric "just incase" I want to make a big quilt, but I learned a lesson making this one. The solid blocks are all cut from just a fat quarter of each color and the patterns are all cut from just half yards of each pattern. Plus, I still have 5" x 44" strips left over of each one and a few scraps of the fat quarters!
